These are some of the backgrounds I did for a comic relief/fifa animation I made in 2010. I really love painting up backgrounds for animation as I’m usually trying to do something a bit different from my normal style. I guess its because I’m trying to think about light and texture more than I would normally. I’m really interested in matte painting and concept art, which was a big influence on these images.
